Shrunken Heads
A favorite Halloween Scripture comes from Numbers where the Lord commands Moses to make an example of the wicked by hanging their heads in the sun. What impression do you think those “shrunken heads” left on the people?
4 And the Lord said unto Moses, Take all the heads of the people, and hang them up before the Lord against the sun, that the fierce anger of the Lord may be turned away from Israel.

Bewitched
Another favorite Halloween set of Scriptures are under the “bewitched” verses. One “bewitching man in Acts, called Simon, known for his “sorcerer” powers recognizes the real powers of God and claim’s conversion. Later he tries to “buy” the powers from Peter and John when they confer the gift of the Holy Ghost on the recently baptized. Peter then rebukes Simon for trying to buy this “power”! (Acts 8:11-24)
11 And to him they had regard, because that of long time he had bewitched them with sorceries.
(Acts 8:9 & 11)
